Hey, it looks like you are getting some extra tags when you are adding your text to the events. Are you copy/pasting your event content into the website? If so, we recommend using a text cleaner like https://textcleanr.com to get rid of the extra tags that copying & pasting from Word, Google Docs or other websites can create.
